Natural gas. Sampling guidelines
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time
The standard establishes the requirements for the selection, preparation and handling of representative samples of the main gas processed. The requirements for the sampling methodology, the placement of the sampling probe and the design of auxiliary equipment for sampling and handling are also given. The standard applies to point, direct and sequential sampling. The standard focuses on such components of natural gas as oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, air, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. The standard does not apply to sampling of liquid flows or multiphase flows.
