This standard applies to: - printing machines for printing on paper and similar materials and products from them, including screen printing machines. Equipment used in the preparation of the printing process, and ancillary equipment for printing presses is also assigned to printing presses. This standard also applies to machines and equipment used for the preparation of paper, products, printing plates and inks (before and after printing processes), as well as equipment for washing printing plates and controlling print quality (auxiliary printing equipment); - paper processing machines, i.e. machines for processing, processing and finishing paper, cardboard and other similar materials and products made from them, which are processed, recycled or finished in the same way. This standard does not apply to printing equipment (printing and paper processing machines), manufactured before the date of its entry into force. This standard does not apply to: - Bobbing and sheet cutting machines used in the finishing of paper and paper products (EN 1034-1: 2000 [30], EN 1034-3: 2000 [31], EN 1034-5: 2005 [32 ]); - office pick-up machines with friction samonaklady; - Machines for processing mailings; - packaging filling machines (for example, packaging, filling and closing machines for packaging); - textile printing machines (excluding certain types of printing equipment used for printing on textiles)
