Fiberglass reinforced thermosetting plastic pipes and parts of pipelines. Specifications
Status: Not effective - Superseded. Registration information 2073-st dated 11/27/2015 (Rosstandart official website); IUS 6-2016
This standard applies to pipes and pipeline parts made from thermosetting plastics based on unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins reinforced with fiberglass (hereinafter referred to as pipes and fittings) with a nominal diameter of DN from 300 to 3000, intended for use in pressure and non-pressure pipeline water supply and sewage systems. Pipes and fittings are intended for transportation of the following working media: - domestic, industrial and storm sewage; - aqueous solutions of chemical elements and compounds; - technical water; - drinking water and liquid foods. The allowable working pressure is up to 3.2 MPa, the admissible rigidity of pipes is up to 10,000 Pa, the allowable constant temperature of the working medium is up to plus 35 (deg.) C at an operating pressure not exceeding the allowable one. The standard does not apply to pipes and fittings intended for internal water supply and drainage systems, as well as pipes and fittings manufactured by the methods: - continuous winding with winding angles of fiberglass yarns and tapes less than 90 (degrees); - periodic winding; - centrifugal molding
