The standard applies to aircraft heavier than air, mainly aircraft. The standard establishes the terms used in science and technology, the definitions, the designations of the axes of coordinates and the letter designations of quantities relating to the dynamics of aircraft in the atmosphere of the Earth and other planets.
Стандарт распространяется на летательные аппараты тяжелее воздуха, в основном самолеты.
