The standard applies to printed and handwritten fonts for optical reading (type "ROS") and establishes the types, composition, shape and size of prints of fonts printed or written with optically contrasting paint on a machine-readable document and intended for automatic reading using optical reading devices in processing systems information and for visual reading.
Стандарт распространяется на печатные и рукописные шрифты для оптического чтения (типа "РОС") и устанавливает типы, состав, форму и размеры оттисков шрифтов, напечатанных или написанных оптически контрастной краской на машиночитаемом документе и предназначенных для автоматического чтения с помощью оптических читающих устройств в системах обработки информации и для визуального чтения.
