This standard specifies the minimum requirements for mass-produced lightweight gas cylinders intended for the storage and use of high-pressure compressed natural gas as motor fuel on vehicles in which the cylinders are installed. The operating conditions do not include external loads that may arise when a car crashes, etc. This standard applies to cylinders made of steel, aluminum or non-metallic material, any design and manufacturing technology that meet the specified operating conditions. The standard does not apply to welded cylinders and cylinders of corrosion-resistant steel
Настоящий стандарт определяет минимальные требования к облегченным газовым баллонам серийного производства, предназначенным для хранения и использования компримированного природного газа под высоким давлением в качестве моторного топлива на транспортных средствах, на которых баллоны установлены. Условия эксплуатации не включают внешние нагрузки, которые могут возникнуть при столкновении автомобилей и т.п. Настоящий стандарт распространяется на баллоны, изготовленные из стали, алюминия или неметаллического материала, любых конструкции и технологии изготовления, которые соответствуют указанным условиям эксплуатации. Стандарт не распространяется на сварные баллоны и баллоны из коррозионно-стойкой стали
