Functional safety of electrical, electronic, programmable electronic safety-related systems. Part 4. Terms and definitions
Status: Effective - Supersedes. IUS 3-2014
This standard contains definitions and explanations of terms that are used in parts 1 to 7 of IEC 61508. The terms of reference of a technical committee include the use (where possible) of fundamental safety standards when preparing their own standards. In this case, the requirements, verification methods or verification conditions of this underlying safety standard are not applied if they are not specifically referenced or are not included in the standards prepared by these technical committees.
