The provisions of this standard are subject to application by technical committees for standardization, government bodies, enterprises and entrepreneurs, scientific and technical, engineering societies and other public associations.

Настоящий стандарт устанавливает общие требования к построению, изложению, оформлению, содержанию и обозначению государственных стандартов РФ, стандартов отрасли, стандартов предприятия, стандартов научно-технических, инженерных обществ и других общественных объединений и изменений к стандартам.
