Lamp control gear. Part 2-13. Particular requirements for d.c. or a.c. supplied electronic control gear for LED modules
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time
This standard establishes additional safety requirements for electronic control gears (ECG) with a supply voltage of up to 250 V DC or up to 1000 V AC with a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz and with operating frequencies different from the frequency of the supply mains for connecting modules diodes (hereinafter referred to as LED modules). This standard applies to electronic ballasts designed to power LED modules with stabilized voltage or current with protection against electric shock using a safe extra-low voltage (BSNN) system or a system equivalent to the BSNN system, as well as to power LED modules with higher voltage. This standard is also applicable to electronic ballasts with unstabilized output voltage or current. For the purposes of this standard, the applications of Part 1 apply; The term "lamp" is also understood as "LED modules". Annex I establishes the requirements for electronic ballasts that are part of an electrical circuit. Performance requirements are set out in IEC 62384
