This standard applies to installation switches of general purpose, manually actuated, intended for household and similar stationary electrical installations of alternating and (or) direct current at a rated voltage of not more than 440 V and rated current of not more than 63 A for indoor and outdoor installations . This standard does not apply to circuit breakers for household and similar installations, switches for electrical appliances and switches mounted in an electrical cord.
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на установочные выключатели общего назначения, приводимые в действие вручную, предназначенные для бытовых и аналогичных стационарных электрических установок переменного и (или) постоянного тока на номинальное напряжение не более 440 В и номинальный ток не более 63 А при внутренней и наружной установках в помещениях. Настоящий стандарт не распространяется на автоматические выключатели для бытовых и аналогичных установок, выключатели для электроприборов и выключатели, вмонтированные в электрошнур
