Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time
The standard applies to programmable controllers (PCs) and peripheral devices (PUs), software programming and debugging tools (SPIEDs) connected to them, technical testing tools and a human-machine interface, etc.). PCs and associated PU are considered as independent products used for automation of production processes. The standard does not apply to automated systems in which PCs can be used as one of its main components, including PC software. The standard establishes: - electrical, mechanical and functional requirements for PCs and associated PU; - operating conditions, storage and transportation; - test methods and procedures to be used to verify that the characteristics of the PC and the associated PU correspond to the established requirements.
Стандарт распространяется на программируемые контроллеры (ПК) и периферийные устройства (ПУ), подсоединенные к ним инструментальные средства программирования и отладки программ (СПИОП), технические средства тестирования и человеко-машинного интерфейса, и т.п.). ПК и связанные с ними ПУ рассматриваются как самостоятельные изделия, применяемые для автоматизации производственных процессов. Стандарт не распространяется на автоматизированные системы, в которых ПК могут применяться как один из основных ее компонентов, включая и программное обеспечение ПК. Стандарт устанавливает: - электрические, механические и функциональные требования для ПК и связанных с ними ПУ; - условия эксплуатации, хранения и транспортирования; - методы испытаний и процедуры, которые должны использоваться для проверки соответствия характеристик ПК и связанного с ним ПУ установленным требованиям.
