Electrical equipment and installations for a. c. voltages 3 kV and higher. General test methods of electrical strength of insulation
Status: Not effective - Superseded. IUS 7-1998
The standard applies to electrical equipment and electrical installations and their parts (hereinafter - electrical equipment) of alternating current of 50 Hz frequency, voltage class Z kV and above. The standard establishes general methods and test conditions for electrical equipment insulation and provides guidance on the processing of test results conducted by industrial frequency voltage, lightning and switching voltage pulses. The standard does not apply to electric cars.
