This standard establishes general requirements for the design, testing and labeling of equipment and Ex-components for use in explosive atmospheres.
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает общие требования по конструированию, испытанию и маркировке оборудования и Ех-компонентов, предназначенных для использования во взрывоопасных средах. При использовании в тексте настоящего стандарта термина «оборудование» подразумевается, что он относится в равной степени как к электрическому (электрооборудование), так и неэлектрическому оборудованию, предназначенному для работы во взрывоопасных средах. Если не указано иное в одном из стандартов на взрывозащиту конкретных видов, дополняющих настоящий стандарт, электрооборудование, соответствующее настоящему стандарту, предназначено для применения во взрывоопасных средах при нормальных атмосферных условиях: - температуре от минус 20 град. С до плюс 60 град. С; - давлении от 80 кПа (0,8 бар) до 110 кПа (1,1 бар); - содержании кислорода в воздухе примерно 21 % по объему
