Installation of air separation plants and other cryogenic equipment. General provisions
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 6-2012
This standard establishes general provisions on the organization of methods (methods, techniques, modes, norms, etc.) of performing work (rendering services) on the installation of cryogenic equipment: air separation plants and other cryogenic systems, separate equipment and pipelines during construction re-equipment, reconstruction, capital repairs of capital construction objects, methods of quality control of these works (services) and the order of their acceptance. The provisions of this standard are aimed at high-quality performance of work (provision of services) by all participants in the investment process at a capital construction facility, preventing the occurrence of emergencies and industrial accidents. This standard is applied in construction, technical re-equipment, reconstruction, repair of capital construction objects (air separation stations, separate productions, isolated areas, etc.), as well as in reconstruction, service maintenance and various types of repairs to cryogenic equipment. Certain provisions of this standard can be used for the dismantling, preservation, re-activation, liquidation and disposal of the specified equipment. This standard is intended for use by organizations regardless of their organizational and legal forms and forms of ownership, who design and operate this equipment, perform and accept installation works, general construction and specialized construction and installation organizations, as well as manufacturers (suppliers, intermediaries) of this equipment in parts related to their profile. The provisions of this standard are mandatory for application to technical products and equipment (works and services) placed (performed) at hazardous production facilities. This standard does not apply to other equipment mounted on the air separation station, including: electrical, power, engineering networks (sewage, heating, water, heat, gas, electricity, etc.), communications, alarms, fire and other equipment, the installation of which is carried out according to separate regulatory documents. This standard does not apply to equipment for work with hydrogen, helium, acetylene, carbon dioxide, natural gas and other technical gases and substances having their specific features.
